Rehabilitation Services Manager, Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin

Katherine “Kat” Weber, is a dedicated and passionate Rehabilitation Services Manager at Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin. With a background as a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer, Kat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. She is committed to enhancing the lives of her patients and supporting her team in providing exceptional care.

"When I began working at OSU, I quickly learned that OSU is different—we are different because we are the best!" Kat says. "OSU's rehabilitation department is a national leader, and each and every day our rehab team changes lives." Kat's enthusiasm and dedication are evident in her work, and she strives to create a workplace culture of joy and empowerment.

Kat's journey at Ohio State began as a staff physical therapist, where she made a significant impact on the lives of her patients. "As a staff physical therapist, I was able to impact the life of each patient that I treated," she recalls. However, her desire to make an even greater difference led her to step into a management role. "I knew my impact could be magnified. I wanted to be able to care for staff as a servant leader, remove patient care barriers/inefficiencies, and create a workplace culture of joy so that staff are empowered and equipped to provide unparalleled care to their patients."

One of the aspects Kat loves most about her job is seeing her team make a difference. "When I am treating patients in the clinic, I love to see patients celebrate big moments like being able to run for the first time after surgery or walk without pain for the first time in years," she shares. Kat's enthusiasm is contagious, and she often joins in the celebrations with high-fives and audible cheers.

Kat's dedication to her patients and team is unwavering. "Whether it is running, weightlifting, playing soccer, or playing with your grandchildren—the loss of ability to do the things you love can be very impactful on quality of life. Being able to physically restore someone's ability to do the things they love is life-changing in a very tangible way!" she explains.

Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin is proud to have Kat as part of their team. Her leadership, passion, and dedication to patient care make her an invaluable asset to the organization. Kat's work in rehabilitation services continues to inspire and positively impact the lives of both patients and staff.
