If we take the time to understand how we interact with others, we’ll very quickly understand that our strength comes from interacting with them in positive ways.

We tend to be fixers of other’s life challenges, blindly assuring ourselves that we are fine.

If you’re looking outside of yourself for comfort and security, you’re likely looking in the wrong space. True serenity and peace of mind comes from within. The source of serenity is not outside—it’s inside of us.

Sharing our serenity is the key to building respect. Respect is the foundation of self-assurance and self-confidence. When you’re feeling challenged, take a moment to do something nice for someone else—you’ll find that kindness is its own reward.
