Coping with COVID-19: Loving People Over Things
We are inundated every day with images of what we should be doing, what clothes to wear, what drinks to drink, what car to drive… All of this makes it very easy to get our priorities backward. We can fall into the trap of loving things and using people. There is nothing wrong with having a car you love, or having a favorite shirt or pair of jeans. Yet true growth comes when we prioritize and love people and use our things. Let’s not forget that car will get you from point A to point B, but it cannot return love. It’s just a thing. Do I have it straight… do I love people and use things?
