Outpatient physical therapy allows me to spend more time with each individual and make a bigger impact. I truly feel at home at Dublin and am fortunate to work with a great group of professionals.

Physical therapist Dan Sulka knew he wanted to combine his passion for physical activity with the medical field. He now uses that passion to help guide patients with a holistic approach.

Working for 13 years at Ohio State’s inpatient Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital was crucial in preparing Dan for his current role in the rehabilitation clinic at Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin, where he feels like he’s made a home.

“Outpatient physical therapy allows me to spend more time with each individual and make a bigger impact,” he says. “Seeing people improve and knowing I had a hand in helping them is gratifying.”

Dan says always strive to learn and do new things, so he’s grateful to face new opportunities every day at the clinic.

A specialist in neurologic physical therapy, Dan says his work allows him to use his creativity and problem-solving skills and to empathetically connect with patients and develop treatment plans that work.

“My patients’ progress and words of appreciation inspire me to come to work each day. I also get excited when I try a new treatment or approach that’s successful in getting the desired outcome,” Dan says. “Making someone else’s day better makes my day better.”
