Working behind the scenes to give every patient a positive experience
Ashley Ferguson, supply chain coordinator
Ashley Ferguson, a supply chain coordinator, approaches each day with a smile and an ingrained sense of wanting to help not only patients and their families but also her fellow staff members.
She always looks forward to tackling the new opportunities and diverse mix of responsibilities that come with her role, which primarily involves ordering and stocking supplies, and appreciates how her efforts are recognized and appreciated.
“Knowing that I work with an amazing group of people inspires me to come to work,” she says. “I love using my customer service background while I work with staff and clinical managers on their day-to-day needs.”
Ashley can be found in all corners of Ohio State Outpatient Care New Albany, either replenishing much-needed supplies, connecting with her teammates or helping patients find their way around the building. She’s constantly popping in and out of areas, anticipating needs before being asked and organizing her storage spaces to ensure easy access.
“My job is more behind the scenes; however, when I’m asked, or I see a patient or family member who needs assistance, I enjoy being able to help guide them to where they need to go.”
