About Me
As a general gynecologist and obstetrician, I regularly treat conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, vaginitis, and acute and chronic pelvic pain. I offer preconception counseling and cancer screenings. I also perform procedures including endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopies, uterine ablation, laparoscopic pelvic surgery, robotic pelvic surgery and hysterectomy via multiple techniques.
I chose to become an OB/GYN because it's an incredible opportunity to support patients through their best and worst of times, and across all stages of their lives. Patients should choose me as their health care provider because there is nowhere else in the world that I would rather be than in the office helping my patients or in the operating room. I treat urgent conditions and I am passionate about doing all I can to improve each patient’s quality of life. It is my privilege to help my patients and their families, and I look forward to building long-lasting relationships.
I’m also passionate about educating and empowering women to take ownership of their health and achieve their goals. I’m interested in specializing in pediatric and adolescent gynecology in the future, with the goal of intervening earlier in patients’ lives to prevent issues and provide anticipatory counseling.
I am passionate about prophylactic medicine, especially HPV vaccination in our community. This is where my research efforts have been focused for the last several years, and I have presented my work at conferences held by the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and the Associates in Central Ohio Obstetrics & Gynecology. I am grateful for the research opportunities here at The Ohio State University and I appreciate all the benefits that academic medicine can provide for patients.
When I’m not working, I enjoy gardening, baking, axe throwing, and hitting the gym or a hot yoga class. I also love visiting with my two charismatic nieces!

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

She was very informative and personable. I felt very comfortable with her. I felt very taken care of with her.
She does not truly understand my condition. I say this based on the questions she asked me.
My care provider did an excellent job in taking care of me.
Dr. Evans was friendly and explained things well. She gave me options to treat my symptoms and instructed me to schedule a follow-up appt before leaving that day.
Care Provider was excellent and took time to know past medical history and find best care plan.
This is the first time I've been to this facility so the doctor did not have prior access to my medical information but listened when I provided pertinent information relative to my concerns for which I was being evaluated.
