Dr. Wada is a professional competently educated immunologist who provides excellent care of me. My diagnosis is mastocytosis - A rare disease dx by Dr. Bertha Bouroncle. She 7 Dr. Doan in 1972 dx me and I have been followed by professional competent care givers at OSU. Thank you.
Dr. Wada always listens to my concerns and gives me helpful, individualized health advice. She sees my illness as more than a set of symptoms and recognizes how it affects my daily life. She is very attentive to my healthcare needs, and I never feel rushed while expressing my concerns during my visit. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wada and her care team!
Dr. Wada is extremely knowledgeable and shows great concern for my wellbeing. I fell very fortunate to have her as my physician.

My first visit with Dr Wada was just exceptional. She spent time taking a careful history, asking and answering questions regarding my condition, all while providing pertinent, insightful, and helpful information. She has a relaxed and approachable manner that is stress reducing. She Is the "poster child" for the best that health care can offer, in my opinion.

Have seen multiple physicians at OSU Wexner Medical Center for the past 30 years. Dr. Kara Wada has been the BEST of all!!! Engages the patient, demonstrates appropriate concern, listens carefully, responds substantively, and appears highly knowledgeable and competent in her speciality. Also, ONLY PHYSICIAN I have seen at this medical center who truly COLLABORATES with the patient and asks how one wants to proceed with tests and treatment. She is what every physician should be professionally and personally!!!
