COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will conduct a symposium that focuses on concussion care for athletes on Friday (4/20) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Blackwell Hotel, 2110 Tuttle Park Place. 
 
Hosted by OSU Sports Medicine, the symposium will address a broad range of best practices in the identification and management of sports concussion, related research, breakthrough therapies and return-to-play methodology. The symposium is intended for physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, EMS providers and other medical and non-medical professionals who are responsible for the health and safety of athletes.
 
The symposium will feature a broad panel of nationally recognized concussion experts who are transforming how concussions are understood and diagnosed, including those with prominence within the National Football League (NFL), academic medical center research entities and more.
