COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will conduct a hip symposium that focuses on multidisciplinary treatment for non-arthritic hip pain on Friday (11/30) from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Biomedical Research Tower, 460 W 12th Avenue.
 
Hosted by OSU Sports Medicine, the symposium will cover a range of pathologies and treatment options including physical therapy, biologics, movement pattern training, proper technique/form with weight training and endurance training and joint restorative surgical options. Additionally, experts will give an overview of some the latest research on hip pain in active individuals.
 
Dr. Jeffrey Nepple, assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Washington University, and Marcie Harris-Hayes, associate professor of physical therapy and orthopedic surgery at Washington School of Medicine in St. Louis, will be guest speakers.
