Experience and Interests
Alyssa is a staff physical therapist at Ohio State University and works with the upper extremity rehab team. Before Joining Ohio state’s Jameson Crane location in 2023, Alyssa worked as a sport’s physical therapist Resident on Houston Texas where she gained experience treating a multitude of athletes and orthopedic conditions. Alyssa’s clinical interest include treatment of performing art athletes especially gymnasts; treatment of various upper extremity disorders, and lower extremity biomechanics and rehabilitation. She is passionate about working with gymnasts and overhead athletes stemming from her time as a division 1 college gymnast. She is currently sitting for her Board Sports Clinical Specialist Certification. She is also a credential clinical instructor through the APTA.
