Experience and Interests
Matt is distinguished in scholarship, excellence and service. He received the "Excellence in Leadership" award from Regis, served as the president for his DPT class, is a member of our sports residency faculty team and has presented at national events including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting and USA Rugby National Symposium.
In addition to his role with Ohio State as our primary on-field mentor for club rugby, Matt travels both domestically and internationally with the USA Rugby national 15’s team for competitions as a member of their medical team. Matt has also worked as the team physical therapist with the Ohio Aviators professional rugby team and Major League Lacrosse Ohio Machine.
Matt’s primary clinical interest is focused upon elite/professional level athletes returning to high level competition. Treatment techniques include, but are not limited to dry needling, cupping, and blood flow restriction therapy.
