Kris Kipp is the executive director of Clinical Services at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Kris has more than 30 years in nursing and clinical operations leadership, including critical care and emergency/trauma.

In his role, Kris has broad oversight over all administrative and operational aspects of our patient care mission, including Clinical Operations, Nursing, Quality, Patient Safety, Guest Services, Patient Education, Survivorship and Volunteer Services. Kris is an experienced, professional and transformational leader and has been very successful at developing collaborative opportunities between The James and various departments across the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

Prior to his time at Ohio State, Kris held directorial roles at Akron General Medical Center from 1993 – 2003. From 1989 – 1993, he was at the Summa Health System – St. Thomas Campus in Akron, where his roles included administrative supervisor and clinical instructor. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing‎ at Kent State University’s College of Nursing and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Louis University.
