Coping with COVID-19: Acknowledge vulnerability


Merely changing words and behavior doesn’t prove there’s been a change in actual inner attitude.

If I spend time deceiving myself and others — if I can somehow disguise my true emotions — they’ll eventually become apparent.

Let’s not waste our time pretending to put on a brave face. Acknowledging our challenges and vulnerability is something none of us like to do. Yet, without being open and honest about where we stand at any given point in the day, we’re robbing ourselves of valuable support we can be providing and receiving.
