Frequently we have much more to be grateful for than we realize. Sometimes life is just too busy to permit us to slow down or to take a quick break to contemplate gifts we have received. Stopping and taking time to think about the positives in our lives is a way to stay connected with the good we’re experiencing. Unfortunately, we are hard-wired to see the negative. Perhaps we are too focused on what can go wrong or what we didn’t finish or what lies ahead. Just for the moment, stop, take a deep breath and remember it’s the journey rather than the destination that’s the gift.
