Coping with COVID-19: Coping Through Laughter
When I first came to work in a hospital I was shocked by the amount of laughter. I was even more confused when staff would discuss difficult cases or situations and would still find something to laugh about. Today, I know that laughter and cheerfulness lead to usefulness and coping. Hearing the stories of the past, how people coped and worked together often times leads to laughter. In the laughter is hope. We all can benefit from hope during challenging times. Take time to find humor within today’s challenges.
