Conflict is inevitable. It occurs when individual perceptions related to the same situation are different. We all see and react to the world around us based on our unique perspective. Seeking to avoid conflict is seeking to stay isolated in the vacuum of your own perceptions. Being willing to look at issues from the perspective of others is a very important part of individual growth. When we can understand that conflict is not an attack on us as individuals but rather challenges our perceptions, the sooner we can get to the point of debating issues and building a broader perception of our world.
