Biography

As a family medicine physician, I’m passionate about working with people of all ages, races, genders and backgrounds to help improve their overall health and quality of life. I enjoy taking care of families, including children, to help tailor patient care to the individual to best improve their health and meet their goals.

I specialize in general primary care; managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension; mental and behavioral health; preventive care; prenatal care; mom and baby care; and acute problems including respiratory illnesses, rashes and minor musculoskeletal injuries. I also have a special interest in women’s health as well as women’s health procedures such as colposcopy.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because we’re a community of health care providers who truly care for the health and well-being of our patients. We have a collaborative environment that allows us to provide the highest level of care to our patients and their communities.

At my practice, I focus on creating lasting and successful relationships. My goal is to learn more about you as an individual and about your values and health goals. By using shared decision-making and evidence-based practices, together we’ll ensure that you receive the best health care possible.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling and hiking.

Dr. Gautherier is always aware of all my health conditions and asks questions about them. She has a very positive personality. I had just run out of one of my prescriptions because it was out of formulary. She made sure I was able to get it from a local pharmacy.
