Biography
Upwards of 40 percent of women in the United States will suffer from one or more pelvic floor disorders (voiding dysfunction, urinary and fecal incontinence, prolapse and sexual dysfunction) during their lifetime. However, many women do not seek care because they believe these conditions are a natural part aging or that the treatments are ineffective. This is exactly why I went into this specialty. I want women to know that we have effective treatments that can significantly improve their quality of life. Our multi-disciplinary comprehensive pelvic floor center, a Medtronic Center of Excellence, offers patients access to innovative, minimally invasive world class treatments for urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urogenital fistulas, mesh complications, neurogenic bladder and sexual dysfunction.
I was recently awarded the ribbon for the Medtronic Center of Excellence award.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Moore is an excellent doctor. She listened carefully my concerns and took the time to explain to my in a very understandable terms about my condition. She is a very compassionate and empathetic doctor who shows how much she cares for her patients.I am very grateful to her.

I have just been diagnosed with a terminal cancer and my doctor was so kind and listened to what was going on and answered all my questions and worries. She was so sweet and understanding and answered questions she did not have to. I felt she took extra precaution taking care of me considering my new diagnosis with cancer to make sure I didn't have additional Issues/infections with the treatment she was given me. I left feeling supported and like I had talked to a friend.
Dr. Moore is wonderful! I had a misdiagnosis from another healthcare group, and she could easily have dismissed me as not needing the specialty care that she provided. I had already been to 3 doctors elsewhere who refused to examine me. Dr Moore took the time to actually examine me and diagnose my real problems. She listened to me and answered me with facts about my situation. Furthermore, unlike the doctors I had seen in the other healthcare groups, she sent messages to colleagues to get the biopsy I desperately needed scheduled, and put in referrals to the support I need to treat and recover from my health issues. She is kind and understanding and did not make me feel like I was taking up too much of her time with my questions.
The doctor on staff was good.He explained things to me very clearly.

Well, I kind of felt like I was talking to Sargent Friday~~"Just the facts ma'am, just the facts". I'm confident that she is an excellent surgeon and a nice person, but I never felt a connection with her as I do with others ar OSU and elsewhere.

Didn't read all the previous test results which skewed her perspective. We had to pull them up on our phone and show her even though they are in the medical records.
