About Me

As an ophthalmologist, I've been performing LASIK and refractive surgery for over 20 years. I was one of two surgeons to bring the first refractive surgery center to Columbus, Ohio. I have also been training surgeons in LASIK for over 15 years.

I provide my patients with personalized care. You'll always see me directly when you make an appointment at my office. My patients receive my cell phone number at the time of surgery, and can reach me any time they have a question. If a patient has a problem, I will always make time to see them.

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing my patients and taking care of them. It's wonderful when someone comes in the day following his or her procedure and is very happy and excited about the outcome. It's fulfilling to see those who were previously living with an eye problem doing better and experiencing a higher quality of life.

Working at Ohio State offers many opportunities to stay on the leading edge of eye care. I am currently involved in teaching and training, as well as research in the area of LASIK and refractive surgery.
