About Me
I am a physician assistant for the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My responsibilities involve caring for patients with conditions such as tinnitus, hearing loss, vertigo, Meniere’s disease, swimmer’s ear, obstructive sleep apnea, tonsillitis, and allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, among others.
I am passionate about supporting my patients throughout their health care journeys. It is rewarding to see their quality of life improve as we work together to resolve their health issues.
I have experience working across the country in both private practice and academic medicine. I am excited to be back in Columbus and to have the opportunity to serve my hometown community.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and son.

All good
I believe the provider only gave me lots of things to get tested for or see another doctor. She seemed to lock in on GERD as the problem for most of my symptoms. Also, focusing on Apnea only because I said my wife has a hard time hearing me breathe. I left the office with more things to worry about rather and anything diagnosed.
Extremely pleased with care provided.She took time to be thorough.
Sara was excellent!! Her care and skills were top notch. I am extremely happy with her. This is the second visit I have had with her, and would gladly see her again if needed.

I had a problem with my ear Doctor Ramirez did a hearing test and referred me to see Doctor Simpson. Doctor Simpson found wax pressing on my ear drum causing the problem. Between the two I would like to give them a hug because they repaired my problem. I feel great because of both of them they did a great job

The CNP was great. I have been to her before. She spent time with me and addressed all my concerns
She was very friendly and good at working with my son.
My ear has water behind the drum. I've been to my normal primary care And an urgent care. No one could figure It out. Both told me I needed a specialist. N they helped figure out why n cleaned my ear. Explained it all to me. And gave me follow up care. She let me look at my ear n see what was wrong. She explained n made me feel so much better.It took 3 weeks to get in. I'm so blessed I did! She is Amazing!
Sarah was awesome. She was very attentive and answered all of my questions. I can't say enough good things about her. I came in later in the day for a follow up and she and the staff helped me immediately.

Really liked the PA. She took the time needed by quickly came to a medical diagnosis which was correct. She was very competent and pleasant.

The provider was very friendly and listened to my concerns and questions. She took time to review the records I brought. And set me up to see the Audiologist while I was there.

I had struggled with a chronic cough for several months. The provider did a procedure with a scope that enabled her to diagnose me with LPR, so I now can start to treat this condition.

Pleasant and helpful. However minimal options available/offered for issue. Did not seem concerned about source or "why" of issue. This was disappointing.

Bad; felt that provider just stopped trying when I gave multiple situations that could have helped me understand what and why things are happening with my health. Good; she some how made me feel comfortable enough to speak honestly and openly even though this was our first time meeting.

Courteous and caring
Ms. Simpson is a very knowledgeable ENT however her bedside manners could be improved. I felt like I was being rushed during the visit (however to be fair she did work me into her schedule as an emergency visit) and that she was not fully emphasizing with my concerns. I am 62 years old and this is my first significant health issue and to be honest I was anxious going into the appointment and not much better afterwards.
She was great! I went in there with discouragement because everyone else just basically told me nothing is wrong. She listened watched my video and we laughed about it she even called one of her colleagues to see if they could help because they were going threw the same thing with a patient and assured me that we would figure this out! I just hope we can!
