About Me

I’m a family physician and enjoy the vast variety of patients and conditions that this field brings. Over the course of my career, I have developed a special interest in preventive medicine and performing in-office skin procedures.

I take a comprehensive approach to patient care and include the patient in the decision-making and diagnostic process. I enjoy helping patients thoroughly understand their condition, and encourage them to engage in healthy lifestyles that promote their well-being.

Working for Ohio State motivates me to keep up to date on the latest medical research and guidelines. My work here allows me to treat a diverse patient population, and to share my passion for medicine by teaching medical students and the community I treat.

When I’m away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as participating in any outdoor activity.

Loved her! She was very nice, respectful & professional. Dr. Nogan, whom was my last provider is a hard act to follow, however, Dr. MacKinlay made a great first impression! My husband & I really were impressed with her. - Very happy to have her as my new doctor!
