About Me

I am a physician assistant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The James. I received my master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Kettering College of Medical Arts and have worked at the OSUCCC – James since 2013, where I specialize in reconstruction after cancer, particularly in breast cancer patients.

I enjoy working at The James because I get to meet so many inspiring patients and be a small part of their journey by helping to restore a part of them that cancer took away. The James is an amazing hospital that is designed with the patients’ needs in mind. For our breast cancer patients, they are able to come to one location to see their medical oncologist, surgical oncologist, radiation oncologist and plastic surgery team. We also have a team of researchers that sign patients up for trials and other projects that aid in their recovery and contribute to the hospital’s mission of a cancer-free world.

I was honored to receive the 2015 Advanced Practice Rising Star Award for my contributions at the OSUCCC – James. Additionally, I have published two journal articles and I’m currently working on a project involving sensory nerve innervation for breast-free flaps.
