Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Collins has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
My pain is more than she realizes and I'm not happy about having my elbow plate removed. I've heard that it's healing for over two years
I was the first patient. And she was very late to get there. But she seemed quite good at the medical side of things. I needed additional x-rays, which she had done right then, and got back in to read them and talk to me about them.
All good
Everything was good
People are kind and caring.
The orthopedic trauma center is one of the best experiences I've had at OSU. They are very open to providing patients the best care and experiences possible. As someone with a disability, it is great to see how they are providing care for those experiencing ortho traumas. I love that they are doing the ortho picnics now it is a great way for the community to gather together and share our experiences.
No issues at all
My care provider was amazing
She was good, but I need to know what or who caused my infection

Good
Interacting with Dr. Collins and her assistants and nurses have always been excellent.
She is really awesome! She listens, shows concern and empathy towards the situation. Explains things to you so that you understand what is happening. I have more pain going on in my knee as a result of this surgery that involved More my ankle. She includes that in her care and even sent me for additional x-rays because she didn't feel showed things well enough. I like the attention and I like her contentedness to the details.
Dr Collins and Dr Souza were great and the reason I still have a leg
Excellent
Dr Collins is knowledgeable and coordinated the plan w my other orthoplastics surgeon
Provider was exactly what I wanted
She is absolutely wonderful. She is extremely bright, caring and always has my best interest. Where are you in our conversations and her suggestions for continued good health.
Extremely knowledgeable
Very good interaction with Dr. Collins. Advised how well my leg and knee were healiing and answered a couple of questions I had regarding the healing process.
Seemed vaguely uninterested in what I had to say, in a hurry to get out.
Everyone I interacted with during this visit was professional and showed great care. Everyone from nursing, to doctor Collins, her resident and scheduling was a great experience. My only issue is with the current process of getting a doctors note.
Good
She showed concern and care for her patience to have the best healing and recovery of health situation.
Very considerate
Attentive to my concerns, ordered additional ankle xrays to define status of the injury and educated me on possible need for surgery.
