About Me
As a gastroenterologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and medical director of The Ohio State University Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center, I specialize in caring for and treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I enjoy providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my patients.
My areas of research include the clinical outcomes and risks of IBD therapy, pharmacopidemiology, pharmacoeconomics and pregnant women with inflammatory bowel disease.
In collaboration with Seattle Children’s Hospital, I developed the first pediatric to adult IBD transition clinic in the Northwest. I’ve written several peer-reviewed publications and have been invited to lecture on many national and international programs.
I enjoy working at an academic medical center, where we’re able to provide excellent patient care, participate in research and train the next generation of physicians.

Caring and understanding.
I feel confident in her ability to work with me to get best treatment.
The doc is so amazing. Her knowledge is unquestionable and I felt lucky to have gotten an appointment with her. Although this was care needed for a more immediate matter and was my first experience meeting the doc, the IBD clinic will now be managing my case on a regular basis.
First visit! She was awesome!
She was awesome! Very thorough.
I liked her. I reacted with stress when she told me I needed a colonoscopy because of previous bad experiences, but she took the time to make sure I was comfortable again.
Thorough, she took a genuine interest in my health issues, answered my questions.
She is awesome explain everything so I understand what my problems are going to have to help them.
This was a first time visit. I liked her very much. Easy to talk to and concerned with my issues.
