About Me

I am passionate about helping my patients improve their quality of life in my role as a rheumatologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As director of the Division of Rheumatology’s multidisciplinary uveitis clinic, I care for patients experiencing eye inflammation caused by an autoimmune disorder. I also regularly treat conditions including lupus, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory myopathy, crystalline arthropathies like gout, spondylarthritis and Sjogren’s syndrome.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, my role includes helping to train the next generation of physicians. I am the associate director of Rheumatology Fellowship Education and serve as the rheumatology liaison for the student education committee.

Dr. Kenol provided the best care I've ever received from a medical provider. Never in my life have I felt so heard by a medical professional. She is the type of provider I want to see. She provided more than enough information and options for my condition and how we could move forward in my overall treatment. She didn't just want to prescribe me medication and be done with me. Whatever OSU needs to do to keep her at their facility they need to do it.

She was well informed and had read my charts and previous tests. She was able to show me my scan and walk me through her next steps and what could happen next on my journey. She also made sure there was a plan of action for a follow-up with her.

Dr. Kenol is one of the best doctors in my 79 years! Thorough, informed, communicator and personable. She considered options and ordered all tests to drill down for the root of my issues. Her teamwork with the intake physician was impressive.
