About Me
As a general surgeon, I specialize in abdominal core health, minimally invasive surgery and surgical endoscopy, as well as providing treatments for hernias and gallstones. I believe in taking a holistic approach to care. Treatment options can include surgery, or other ways to improve a patient’s quality of life without surgery. Each patient brings a unique set of needs and goals that I consider when developing an effective care plan. I strive to partner with my patients to address their health care needs while working with them to find new ways of improving care for everyone.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the opportunity to work with professionals who really demonstrate a willingness to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
In my free time I enjoy running and working out, playing the keyboard and guitar and spending as much time with my family as possible.

Dr. Poulose was the one that done my surgery. He is the best and very friendly. Along with him Dr. Torri Curtis she is the best too!
Dr. Poulose took plenty of time to sit and answer all of my questions! He didn't appear in a hurry and didn't rush me through my questions. I was very impressed!!

Dr. P is amazing! Professional but takes the time to discuss everything! My only regret is not going to him sooner.
While the provider was friendly and professional, I don't feel he truly listened to my experience of why I was referred to him.
Dr. Poulose is an excellent doctor and I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for me.
Dr. Polouse is OUTSTANDING. He is thorough, personable, attentive, knowledgable (make that brilliant), and clearly compassionate. He was generous with his time and willing to address even item I was concerned about, no matter how minute. As a physician myself, I could be a harsh critic, but he is wonderful and I am confident in his abilities and would let him care for not only me, but every member, of my family if the need arose.
Very comfortable with the expertise, knowledge, professionalism and genuine caring
Dr was VERY informative
Even though my problem was in no way urgent, I was seen much faster than I could have ever expected. Dr. Poulose could not have been more attentive, kinder, or more personable. As a physician educator myself, I was very pleased to additionally be seen by the senior fellow, as well as the medical student with Dr. Poulose. I just can't say enough good things about him and everyone else associated with my visit.
This provider has been a godsend to me. He fixed what 3 previous attempts could not, I can never thank this team of providers enough for what they have done for me
He was excellent, knowledgeable & a good communicator.
