About Me

As an advanced heart failure cardiologist, I specialize in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. I commonly provide treatment for patients with congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy. I believe patient education is my most important responsibility, as I work together with my patients to develop individualized care plans. I am passionate about my career because of the opportunity to offer life-changing treatments and develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families during the process.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the range of treatment options we’re able to offer our patients. This was a great experience with Dr. Lampert. All my concerns were addressed. I also learned he sees patients who have or need transplants, among others. That is why he sees heart failure patients only one day a week. We decided for me to see him once a year for now, to exercise more, eat better & see where I'm at next October. Dr. Lampert won me over as a fan with this in-depth explanation/visit. I am very grateful. He was also kind and listened intently to us. Answered accordingly.
