About Me
As a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with over 28 years of practice, I believe in caring for patients the way I want to be cared for. To me, this means being friendly, efficient and running on time.
I enjoy working with my patients and explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as answering questions they may have. I try to always be friendly with superb bedside manner. Additionally, I generally answer all phone calls and emails within four hours.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the ability we have to collaborate with subspecialists to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as collaborating with those conducting meaningful research in neurology.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time drumming in a band, bicycling and working on my wife’s “to do list.”

Dr Fahey explained everything very well.
He was very efficient
Professional
Dr. Fahey was amazing. I live in a very rural area where the healthcare is terrible. We drove over 2 hours to see him. He listened very intently and understood what I've been dealing with and immediately ordered tests, looked at some results from MRIs that I had brought and ordered the bloodwork from the local hospital here. My son was so impressed that he is scheduling an appointment with Dr. Fahey also.
Dr Fahey did a good job explaining test results and how they relate to me. Good listener, attentive, concerned
Very friendly and I left not feeling anxiety about my reason for being there. Scheduled a follow up appointment
Outstanding. Also hilarious.
Is knowledgeable & on the ball with questions during the test.
Provider was good but didn't seem to be aware of the new symptoms that triggered my need for an appointment. He seemed to think that it was a follow up on my previous check ups and was somewhat in a rush
Very good
Dr. Fahey provided a comprehensive exam and explanation of treatment plan. He was knowledgeable and caring.
Normal
He could speak English, very well knowledgeable of what he thought of what it could be Dr. Fahey listened to what I had to say, he explained things to me.
Always caring
The best
It was all good.
He's funny and easy to talk with
No problems
All good
Did not listen. Was told they didn't care about the whole story which explains and can help piece together the cause. Did not have my medical history despite it all being in my osu file and through an osu provider and assumed because of a recovered diagnosis in 2012 that was the cause of my problem now. Refused to acknowledge other possibilities and had no recollection of our previous talk. Very contradictory on view points verse the facts. Second visit vs the first visit was a complete 180 in how I was listened to and respected. Didn't even want to make eye contact and cut me off telling me he didn't care more than once. First visit I was listened to and respected. Will not be returning as It Is not worth my money spent.
The best ! Physician apologized for wait ! Best care !
Excellent in every way
Very Good
Friendly, detailed provider.
Respectful and knowledgeable
Very knowledgeable
Clear, good questions, letting me know what he was treating me for.
My provider is always kind and courteous. He listens to my concerns attentively. He explains things in a way that is not degrading or insulting to a non-medical professional. I respect his knowledge and expertise.
Asked and covered questions necessary. Scheduled testing within a week.
Great
All good. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable
The provider seemed rushed, did not have insight into my medical history, and did not leave time to ask questions or express concerns I have.
My husband and I like this provider's bedside manner and he doesn't talk down to us. We feel like we are part of a team.
The doctor was very helpful knowledgeable and explained everything to me and my wife
Ran a battery of tests for mobility in the office which no one had ever done to that depth. Understood my symptoms and wants to find the root cause.
Very kind and knew my health issue.
Dr Fahey was excellent - he was very thorough with his initial assessment, and provided the care that I needed during this appointment to resolve my issue.
Very thorough, kind, up-to-date on my history, helpful, supportive.
I really like Dr Fayeh. He quickly clicks into what I'm saying. I chose a teaching facility purposefully because my condition is rather complex. Dr. Faye is exactly who I need. We had a bit of confusion to begin with, but I think that has been straightenedout now.
All good
Very great!
Fab
This physician diagnosed my condition, something neither the urgent care doctor, ED doctor nor my primary physician was able to do. He gave me a wide range of treatment options from which to choose. I was fortunate to find my way to his care.
He was very nice, friendly and attentive. Very intelligent as well.
They Listened and asked questions when they were needed
All good
1st appt there. Good listener...
Very good very good
Very efficient
Good and helpful with the experiences when he talked with me.
Always kind, pleasant. Very easy to relay my heath questions/concerns to. He knows my various health issues & how they might impact my ability to follow his In Instructions to the fullest.
Dr Fahey takes time and answers all my questions. He is trying to help me with a chronic condition that several other doctors would not problem solve or treat.
Very helpful and friendly. Positive experience
Seemed knowledgeable, explained his thoughts well
Was interrupted when discussing symptoms. Provider was cold and not friendly. Provider seemed rushed and did not want to listen to my experience. Provider just wanted to provide a "solution" without helping me understand the problem. Provider did not seem to understand my MRI results and did not review them with me.
Good
I have had a really excellent experience
He seemed very knowledgeable
Dr. Fahey listened to my problems and addressed all my concerns.
Very knowledeable about my condition and my history

Dr. Brian Fahey is a wonderful Neurologist he is nice friendly helpful caring he answers all if my questions
Long -term care and knowledge of issues and communication barrier but delivers exceptional care and effective treatment.
Listens well and really cares
He was phenomenal, I've talked to numerous doctors that brushed things off and didn't listen to my concerns, not only did he listen he seemed genuinely concerned about the issue at hand and explained things very well and was proactive in helping find the cause of the issue and very open with his plan to start diagnostic testing. Very compassionate and way to talk to, extremely confident and informative with compassion. Best bedside manner I have seen in years
He is very good but has an agenda to complete his exam, no time for friendly conversations. He does answer and re-explain my questions.
He is very warm and personable. I always feel like he is prepared and remembers my case details.
