About MeAs a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with over 28 years of practice, I believe in caring for patients the way I want to be cared for. To me, this means being friendly, efficient and running on time.
I enjoy working with my patients and explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as answering questions they may have. I try to always be friendly with superb bedside manner. Additionally, I generally answer all phone calls and emails within four hours.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the ability we have to collaborate with subspecialists to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as collaborating with those conducting meaningful research in neurology.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time drumming in a band, bicycling and working on my wife’s “to do list.”

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/26/2018, Dr. Fahey has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
