  • Osteopathic Physician What's this? A physician, or doctor, is extensively trained to diagnose and treat complex medical problems. Often, physicians focus their practice on certain disease categories, treatment methods or patient types. Physicians can diagnose and treat illness, prescribe medication, offer medical consultation and advice, perform surgery and more.

About Me

As a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with over 28 years of practice, I believe in caring for patients the way I want to be cared for. To me, this means being friendly, efficient and running on time.

I enjoy working with my patients and explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as answering questions they may have. I try to always be friendly with superb bedside manner. Additionally, I generally answer all phone calls and emails within four hours.

My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the ability we have to collaborate with subspecialists to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as collaborating with those conducting meaningful research in neurology.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time drumming in a band, bicycling and working on my wife’s “to do list.”

I have chronic symptoms that have been miss-interpreted as part of my main condition of MS. The Dr. seemed very interested to find the cause of these associated but separate symptoms. I feel confident he will follow this through until a proper diagnosis.
