About Me
As a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with over 28 years of practice, I believe in caring for patients the way I want to be cared for. To me, this means being friendly, efficient and running on time.
I enjoy working with my patients and explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as answering questions they may have. I try to always be friendly with superb bedside manner. Additionally, I generally answer all phone calls and emails within four hours.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the ability we have to collaborate with subspecialists to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as collaborating with those conducting meaningful research in neurology.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time drumming in a band, bicycling and working on my wife’s “to do list.”

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Good and helpful with the experiences when he talked with me.
Always kind, pleasant. Very easy to relay my heath questions/concerns to. He knows my various health issues & how they might impact my ability to follow his In Instructions to the fullest.
Dr Fahey takes time and answers all my questions. He is trying to help me with a chronic condition that several other doctors would not problem solve or treat.

Was interrupted when discussing symptoms. Provider was cold and not friendly. Provider seemed rushed and did not want to listen to my experience. Provider just wanted to provide a "solution" without helping me understand the problem. Provider did not seem to understand my MRI results and did not review them with me.

He was phenomenal, I've talked to numerous doctors that brushed things off and didn't listen to my concerns, not only did he listen he seemed genuinely concerned about the issue at hand and explained things very well and was proactive in helping find the cause of the issue and very open with his plan to start diagnostic testing. Very compassionate and way to talk to, extremely confident and informative with compassion. Best bedside manner I have seen in years
He is very good but has an agenda to complete his exam, no time for friendly conversations. He does answer and re-explain my questions.

The care provider performed a neuropathy test which seemed quite thorough. During the test the provider explained what he was going to do and the sensations I would experience. He was caring and considerate.
