Biography
As a general neurologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, with over 28 years of practice, I believe in caring for patients the way I want to be cared for. To me, this means being friendly, efficient and running on time.
I enjoy working with my patients and explaining diagnosis and treatment plans, as well as answering questions they may have. I try to always be friendly with superb bedside manner. Additionally, I generally answer all phone calls and emails within four hours.
My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the ability we have to collaborate with subspecialists to provide outstanding care to our patients, as well as collaborating with those conducting meaningful research in neurology.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time drumming in a band, bicycling and working on my wife’s 'to do list.'

Dr. Fahey was excellent! He listened to me and addressed all my concerns. He did tests I hadn't even thought of and was very informative on potential issues! He's very knowledgeable!

He listened and actually came to talk to me unlike the other doctor I saw at the same place but in the cardiac ward. I was resistant to come back since the absolute horrendous doctor I saw in cardiology but this doctor was AMAZING! He listened and I was able to get my POTS diagnosis

Always wonderful. He's very knowledgable and one thing I really like about him is that he is able to figure out what's going on while I am talking to him about medical issues. The other doctor I see there is like this too. Not all doctors seem to be able to do this and it's one of the reasons I always suggest their office if someone tells me they are looking for a doctor of this type. I appreciate his attention to detail and that he speaks in a way that makes it easy to understand what he's asking and he understands what I am asking well and I don't have to repeat myself. He's patient too. I always feel like all of my questions get answered here also.

My visit was fine. I was glad to be able to get in to see a neurologist quickly. I submitted a couple of questions on MyChart after the visit regarding my blood tests which received answers, but my specific questions were not directly answered. I have to try to guess the answers to my questions because the provider did not specifically answer my questions. They were not very important questions, but I would have preferred more direct answers to my specific questions.
Dr.Fahey is a wonderful physician, he is a great neurologist.

Dr. Fahey was amazing. I live in a very rural area where the healthcare is terrible. We drove over 2 hours to see him. He listened very intently and understood what I've been dealing with and immediately ordered tests, looked at some results from MRIs that I had brought and ordered the bloodwork from the local hospital here. My son was so impressed that he is scheduling an appointment with Dr. Fahey also.

Did not listen. Was told they didn't care about the whole story which explains and can help piece together the cause. Did not have my medical history despite it all being in my osu file and through an osu provider and assumed because of a recovered diagnosis in 2012 that was the cause of my problem now. Refused to acknowledge other possibilities and had no recollection of our previous talk. Very contradictory on view points verse the facts. Second visit vs the first visit was a complete 180 in how I was listened to and respected. Didn't even want to make eye contact and cut me off telling me he didn't care more than once. First visit I was listened to and respected. Will not be returning as It Is not worth my money spent.

This physician diagnosed my condition, something neither the urgent care doctor, ED doctor nor my primary physician was able to do. He gave me a wide range of treatment options from which to choose. I was fortunate to find my way to his care.
