Biography
I am a board-certified emergency medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in providing acute care for patients experiencing medical emergencies, ensuring timely and effective treatment in high-pressure situations.
My patients can rely on me for prompt, skilled, and compassionate care. I collaborate with a team of emergency medicine professionals to deliver personalized care that meets the urgent needs of each individual.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as an assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where I am dedicated to teaching and mentoring future emergency physicians.
My role as an EMS Medical Director
- Associate Medical Director – Columbus State Community College EMS Program
I completed my medical training at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, followed by residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. During that time, I served as a flight physician for the University of Wisconsin’s Medflight program and subsequently completed fellowship training in Medical Education. I joined the core faculty at the Ohio State College of Medicine in 2018 as an assistant professor in Emergency Medicine. Since that time, I have continued to focus on my passion for curriculum design and implementation in the education of medical students and physician residents as well as EMS providers.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Brooke Moungey has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
