About Me

As an anesthesiologist, I specialize in liver transplant anesthesiology, an amazing field that constantly challenges my ability to quickly diagnose and manage acute cardiopulmonary syndromes, hematologic abnormalities and coagulopathies that are otherwise unseen on a regular basis.

I believe in providing patient-centric evidence-based perioperative care, and an integrated team-based approach to surgery and postoperative care.

My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the wide variety of clinician-scientists who are at the forefront of medicine.

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and enjoying a night out with the wife.

Highlights

My research interests including total intravenous anesthetic and its effect on recurrence in early stage cancers in the lung, breast and colon, factors affecting intraoperative cardiac arrest in liver transplantation and predictive algorithms in the post-anesthesia recovery unit
