About Me
I am an internal medicine physician specializing in treating adults and children while they are in the hospital. I strive to create experiences that are as positive as possible for my patients, and I will do all I can to help them recover and go home as quickly as possible.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as the director of professionalism for the Division of Hospital Medicine. I am also a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine in the Ohio State University College of Medicine and have been honored with multiple teaching awards throughout my career.
I love working in academic medicine because it lets me merge my interests in patient care and education. I’ve had the opportunity to create a robust set of resources to help learners and faculty members at every level achieve their goals. I helped launch peer coaching programs within the Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and General Surgery residency tracks. I also serve as director of clinical coaching for the Internal Medicine Resident Program and as a Graduate Medical Education success coach.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Redman has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
