Nurse Practitioner
A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. Nurse practitioners work in a variety of settings, including primary care and various other medical and surgical specialties.

A provider may be accepting new patients only in a specific specialty or location based on availability. A referral may be required.
Corey listens and is attentive with the focus to help me

Corey is amazing. I wish he was also my OBGYN and any other doctor that I needed. From day one, I have felt so well cared for and so considered. Since deeming him as my PCP last fall and having my first appointment with him, he's been extremely responsive via MyChart and even helping me to strategize about the care I receive from my other providers. He takes his time, listens well, and he shocked me at my most recent appointment about how much he remembered of the small details I shared with him at my first appointment last year. As someone who is timid about doctors, hospitals, etc., I am so grateful I found him.

Not good. He informed me that I needed to see an interest, due to the medications I was taking. He left the room to let the nursing assistant that I needed some phone numbers and NEVER returned. I realize I have more than the usual health problems but I am tired of being treated like I'm a leper.
