About Me
To me, plastic surgery is the perfect combination of art and surgery. No two patients are alike and no two solutions are the same. I get to help people feel better about themselves and that’s such a rewarding experience. I believe a patient’s questions and concerns should take priority at our appointments so we can build a foundation for a good outcome. Knowing more about what a patient thinks and feels allows us to have a conversation about what’s achievable and what’s safe. Throughout a patient’s journey, I strive to be a partner and advocate for them at every step.
I started my career in academics and then branched out into private practice for several years. This has given me a broader perspective on surgical technique, safety, efficiency and experience that others don’t have. I ultimately felt that academics was a better fit for me as it allows me to practice in state-of-the-art facilities, train the next generation of plastic surgeons and work as part of a team.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I’m the director of aesthetic surgery in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. I enjoy working here because of the camaraderie within the Buckeye community and focus on advancing patient care. We all have the Buckeye spirit and it shows in the way we treat our patients!
In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and two children.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Lehrman has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Immediately washed his hands upon entering room. Did NOT appear rushed during my visit and seemed interested about my case. Very happy with plan of care.
He just goes way, way too fast. I can barely get a word in edgewise. Doesn't seem to care about me.
He's great
Dr. Lehrman is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. He listens to your concerns and adjusts his care accordingly.
I feel like I matter
Very attentive to questions; made me calm regarding upcoming surgery.
Dr. Leherman is always professional, knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. I enjoy visiting with him. He always takes enough time to educate me regarding procedures and outcomes. He's a great doctor. I will miss getting to see him.
Professional and reassuring
Listened very well, was great at explaining what to expect pre and post op.
My Surgeon didn't tell me everything about removing my big fat pouch below my belly button. He didn't tell me he's going to put air into the incision.
He said he couldn't do anything for me. He said I'm just gonna have to live with my left implant almost to my waist this is ridiculous.
Listened and responded thoroughly to all questions.
Dr. Lehrman really listened to me and answered all of my questions with kindness and professionalism.
My provider was amazing, very attentive and knowledgeable as well
Excellent MD, very thorough & knowledgeable takes his time to explain & listen.
Great experience and informative.
Happy w/the laser results. After care instructions would have been helpful, something written. Dr. answered questions and was friendly but seemed rushed.
No concerns
Had reviewed my chart regarding visit years ago. Understood my questions, shared helpful and reassuring information, asked questions to make sure he understood my health, risks and expectations.
He do a wonderful job
