"My love of educating others is an integral part of my medical career. As a specialist in general internal medicine, I’m committed to and passionate about educating patients in areas affecting their health and lifestyle. My goal is to help them feel empowered with information and individualized recommendations so they can make the best health care decisions. I have found that it’s crucial to understand what each patient values, cares about and often fears the most.It was initially my love of questions and the pursuit of answers that drew me to medicine. However, after I began seeing patients, I found it was the human interactions and the formation of close relationships with colleagues, staff, students, residents and especially patients, that became the most meaningful and inspiring element for me.
My time at The Ohio State University has given me the opportunity to work alongside many amazing colleagues, residents and students, all who teach me a great deal on a daily basis.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, cooking and entertaining friends and family."

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Kreger has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
I have been with the doctor for 30 years. She have been good, but I Don't do as I should.
She apologized for being late and spent time with me to answer all my questions. I've been her patient over 30 some years and trust her explicitly.
The best!!! It will be very hard to find another equal to her!

My primary care physician, Cynthia Kreper, is exceptional, a problem solver, interested in keeping me healthy and an amazing listener.
There is no one I trust more than Dr. Kreger regarding my health care. Her diagnostic skills are superb, and she takes any concern I might have seriously and pursues it to resolution.
Dr. Kreger is the absolute best!!!!!! She listens, explains, teaches and recommends additional tests or treatments as necessary. Dr. Kreger is very observant. During a previous visit she spotted a pimple on my face and said it looked to be basil cell skin cancer and went through extra effort to get me into dermatology in an expedited manner. Told me what to expect during the visit, etc., etc. She's the best!!

Dr. Kreger is the Best and if she retires, I will definitely have mental health issues. She answers my questions on the chart on weekends and late in the evenings and squeeze me in between of appointments when needed. She is more than 10 as rated. She should be up in 100!

Dr Kreger Is one of the best best of the several Docters etc. With my issues.......I believe she does her homework seeing all the notes from other Doctors and all the tests etc. Taken and puts them In way I can understand to sometimes providing information I need to move forward. .

Dr. Cynthia Kreger is the best provider anyone could hope to have. She is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and never ever rushes through her appointments with me. I am certain she is the same with all of her other patients which is why I like and respect her so much. When she is running over time with another patient, she always comes in to apologize for the wait. Quite frankly, she is worth waiting for. But she is very respectful of my time and I'm sure if I said something she would get me on my way and still making sure that everything is addressed, but I've never been in a rush during or after my appointments, so that has never been an issue.
