About Me

I'm an ophthalmologist specializing in refractive surgery. I've been performing LASIK for more than 17 years and PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) prior to that. My experience includes being part of the first laser center in Columbus.

I enjoy taking care of people and working with patients. I like using my hands to perform surgery. The most rewarding thing that I do is actually seeing my patients and taking care of them. It's wonderful when they come in the day after a procedure and are very happy and excited about the outcome. It's fulfilling to see those who had a problem and are now better.

We provide very personalized care. You'll always see me directly when you make an appointment at my office. Most of my patients have my cell phone number and can reach me any time. If a patient has a problem, I'll always make time to see them.

Working at Ohio State offers many opportunities to stay on the leading edge of eye care. I just keep learning.
