Biography
I specialize in caring for patients with spinal conditions in my role as a physician assistant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My job includes performing thorough physical exams and assisting surgeons in the operating room. I routinely care for patients with degenerative spinal issues, conditions like scoliosis, acute infections and sports-related injuries.
I am a good listener and I prioritize patient education. My patients can always rely on me to answer their questions and ensure they understand their condition and all treatment options.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am a member of several Ohio State committees focused on improving efficiencies and enhancing patient care. I also help train future providers as a clinical preceptor for physician assistant students.

Donnie is the best at making sure that I get feeling better.
Very professional
So very dismissive. I don't care what the MRI or X-ray shows. If my lower back hurts that's what it's doing and if I feel like I be paralyzed that just what it feels like. He is not in my body, just like a man to dismissive a female pain

My provider spoke very fast. I had to interrupt several times to ask for clarification and repeats. He seemed to be in a hurry. Things he said about "being paralyzed in 5 to 10 years" frightened me. He said, "Oh, look I made her teary eyed." I was very upset by the time he left. He called me to ask me If he had told me to schedule further appointments and told me to get a cane.
Donnie was very good. He took his time. He listened to me carefully. He was very thorough with his exam and in with his post visit instructions.
He is very nice very knowledgeable. Caring takes his time. Explains everything I would highly recommend him.

Donnie Miller PA is a professional, competent and caring practitioner. He was thorough in both his questions and examination of me. He took my descriptions of my symptoms seriously. He listened to me and was aware of my emotional distress about my change in function and my pain. He displayed empathy toward me and offered relief for my pain. I have a plan of action which-is important for me as I am retired Nursing Professor and ICU nurse, OSU educated.
He eas fine....I just don't know how to deal with loose pedicle screw in my spine.

He seemed rushed. I did not get the feeling that he listened to what I told hi about pain in my back. He then prescribed Oxicondone but the prescription would not last until the next visit with my surgeon, I had to request an additional amount.
