A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. Same as the nurses/assistants. She treats me like a family member. Feel very comfortable talking to her.

I had a pleasant visit it was good
She told me ti schedule appointment with my PCP to get blood work. She couldnt order it. I came for my ankle swellung. It was huge, she looked at it and said well you fractured it so its always going to be swole. The appointment was a waist of time I got so much more too much to type. This is not going to anywhere anyways

My care provider was outstanding. I was a little nervous about coming in and she was very easy to talk to. She was extremely knowledgeable and one of the best I have seen in the health system.
Dr. Tate listens carefully, asks questions, and spends enough time with me to understand the issue and be proactive about solutions.
Just didn't know enough about my on going injury that OSU has been taking care of me. I left with no pain medication and tried to show her my swollen knee and the ping pong size knot behind my right knee.

Overall a typical visit. Unfortunately I felt that she didn't fully understand my concerns and reading the after visit summary, what she noted was not what I was trying to explain. I'm concerned this will delay my assessment and care. She did provide the referral I asked for but also referred me to another department that I do not believe is necessary with very little discussion or input from me.
I had no bad experience at all with my provider ever I trust her with my life and that lot to say she is the very first one since I been in Columbus Ohio 2007
She is a good provider but I have noticed over the last few years she just isn't as friendly.

My car provider is very thorough and she don't waste time. She's very direct and she make sure you understand anything. She's explaining to you about the situation that you might have approached her with.

Ms. Tate addressed my health concerns but she didn't seem very friendly. She never had a smile. Instead of voluntarily giving me information about my health concern, I had to ask questions about what was going on and why?

Very concerned about my overall health
Donnita Tate was ok but did not take feedback and my concerns regarding overall treatment plan, concerns about how I had been treated within the OSU system and coordination of care seriously. It was sad because I hoped she would be different and advocate for me or at least ensure we would work together and have regular checkups on my health. Also so many questions I had left unanswered. Even if you can't give a patient what they asked for at least explain why and talk about how you will manage their health with them to get better. She seemed to take my concerns and questions as an attack instead of an opportunity to address my concerns. She basically responded by suggesting I see new providers. So I will.
The good experience I have with my healthcare provider. Was that listen to me? And they help me understand what was going on with my health. I really love the time they used everything to me. I had a very good experience with my health. Care provider.

Danita Tate never introduced herself to me, barely acknowledged me. Ask her a question about my last colonosopy and got the shoulder shrug. Needless to say, I switched providers

No urgency of my situation. She seems more concerned about covering herself, than taking care of what I needed. I am now in limbo waiting. Things could have been done on the day of the visit. Now I am waiting for paperwork. I'm at work hoping no more falls happen. I am very frustrated with the bureaucracy. I am the in pain at work in danger of falling.
