Physician, Assistant Professor
Palliative Medicine - Internal Medicine, Neurology
Department: Neurology
As a neuropalliative care physician, I specialize in providing holistic and supportive treatment to patients with neurodegenerative diseases. I focus on symptom management and quality of life, caregiver support, and advance care planning.
In my role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I commonly care for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and movement disorders like Parkinson’s disease. I also regularly treat patients with various forms of dementia including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia and frontotemporal dementia.
It is an honor to walk with patients and families along their journey and they can rely on me for support every step of the way. I am devoted to helping them navigate both the daily hurdles and the big-picture challenges associated with their illness.
I also practice general neurology in the neurology resident clinic, where we treat patients with a wide variety of neurologic conditions, including headaches, seizures, movement disorders, and neuropathies.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I also help educate future physicians as associate director of the neurology residency program.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Everett has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
