About Me
As a health psychologist, I provide patients the tools necessary for a successful bariatric surgery outcome. Before a patient’s surgery, I’ll conduct a bariatric evaluation, with the intention of providing psychological treatment to optimize the patient’s success.
Before coming to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I received training in clinical health psychology as well as comorbid medical and psychological conditions. These training experiences have allowed me to further my understanding of the importance of working in an interdisciplinary environment in which behavioral health and medicine are equally considered in attending to a patient’s health and well-being.
In addition, my training in weight management and bariatrics has allowed me to address weight management with a holistic approach while implementing evidence-based interventions.
