About Me

As a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in disease management and preventive medicine. I believe in using a holistic approach to patient care. I think it’s important to be mindful of where patients live and the unique set of challenges that they face. I am also interested in health policy and public health issues that directly impact urban underserved communities and medically vulnerable patients.

My favorite part about working at Ohio State is the diverse patient population that I get to treat. CarePoint East has a great staff and an excellent support system. I also enjoy teaching medical students and residents how to provide quality healthcare to underserved communities.

In my free time I enjoy drawing, playing basketball and watching sports.

He is very caring & interested & patient. He is somewhat rushed as the time allowed for each patient isn't quite enough. Hopefully I'll have fewer questions as we go along.

I love this guy. I searched for a primary care dr. for quite awhile, I had almost given up on finding someone I trusted to be my primary dr. I'm so glad I scheduled my 1st appointment with Dr. Ahmad. He's quite frankly the best dr. I've ever seen. It's obvious he cares about his patients. My hope is that he will be my dr. for the rest of my life.
