About Me
I chose to become a board-certified family nurse practitioner because I am passionate about helping my patients gain control of their health and achieve their wellness goals. As a primary care provider, I treat chronic conditions including diabetes, depression, hypertension and hypothyroidism. I also emphasize preventive medicine and offer annual physical examinations and women’s health services.
I always provide personalized, high-quality care with compassion, empathy, cultural sensitivity and active listening. When people come to see me, they can expect an evidence-based approach with treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and values. I prioritize shared decision-making with my patients and empower them to take active roles in their care. I aim to be a trusted collaborator in each person’s wellness journey.
It’s a privilege to continue caring for patients in central Ohio. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I was an interventional radiology technologist here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. During that time, I was inspired by the collaborative approach to medicine, the diversity in pathology and patient population and the passion for education that my colleagues embodied.
During my program at The Ohio State University College of Nursing, I had excellent preceptors dedicated to training the next generation of clinicians. I hope to pay it forward by providing future students with the opportunity to expand their clinical knowledge and experience.
I completed my doctorate of nursing degree, focused on population health. I am a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I am a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Always very nice and helpful
She was amazing and attentive
She's always very attentive. Very familiar with my treatment and care past and present because I have other others. In addition to, recent hospitalization and surgery.
Care provider was wonderful, she did a fantastic job !
She is truly the best. Since I began seeing her, my overall health has significantly improved.
Good - her AI tool was able to take note of every concern I had and I felt the documentation was very thorough, other nurses were nice, weight management conversation was mostly reasonable when not discussing additional concerns I had for my health Bad - I felt the nurse practitioner had a lot of assumptions including my apartment "having a gym" and acting surprised when I said no, history of obesity and everything "caused by my weight" (she asked "did you have these concerns when you were thinner?") despite me sharing that my pain stemmed from childhood and I was worried about juvenile fibromyalgia (acupuncturist doctor who practiced gynecology in China told me to get checked for fibromyalgia not the PCP), telling me "eating frequently does not mean HUGE meals" (when I mentioned that I got nauseous with frequent meals) while laughing and looking down making faces and motions with her hands, making referrals but not actively listening to my concerns, not knowing my prescription drug name and passive aggressively telling me I should have brought my prescription bottle to every new appointment like I would have tried to get hooked on drugs (2 other PCPs I had were comfortable and trusting), asking me multiple times if I am "constipated" while making a face, etc. Kept asking "not constipated?"
She is so kind and suggested many things for my situation She explained ever very clearly and I got appointments for my referrals very quickly
She was very attentive and explained her anger throughout
She was very good
Very attentive , knowledgeable and empathetic to needs / concerns
Everything very excellent
Dr. Lemus is fantastic. As this was my first visit to PC outside the VA since 2009, she showed me exactly what I was hoping to getgood care from a friendly individual.
Great
Very professional
Answer all my questions
It was great
She was very nice, really listened to me, took all the time I needed. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable and gave me good feedback with some suggestions. I am so happy with her and I trust her. Much more satisfied than I was with my last OSU provider. I almost didn't come back to OSU when my PCP retired. I'm so glad I did.
So detailed and patient with me but learned a lot from her and understood everything really well.
She listened to my concerns!
She was WONDERFUL. Very thorough and kind
