A nurse practitioner is extensively trained to treat illness or disease and to prescribe medication to their patients. They work on teams with a licensed physician, but can treat patients with significant autonomy. She was very concerned about my condition and and she wanted to make sure we figured out what was going on as quickly as possible. She is very passionate about getting me taken care of.

Grace is always on top of things for me, has checked my chart from the last time I saw here and is up to date. Makes notes regarding up coming visits.

The providers are always attentive and friendly and remember no medical information from previous visits.

I don't really have an opinion on Grace yet. She had a student come in and do the entire exam. Grace came in for a few mins at the end but she didn't do any exam. She spoke with me though. I support teaching hospitals and her student doing the exam. I'm sure Grace spoke with her but I'd had been a little more comfortable if she'd asked my permission or did even a portion of the exam herself.
I really appreciate the opportunity and time allotted to discuss the medical questions and answer my questions at an appropriate level, i.e. Highly educated but not a professional or expert.

Grace is very nice; this was our first time meeting.
This was my first visit with Grace and I loved her. She spent more time with me than I've experienced with any other provider, got to know me, made me feel comfortable, and seemed very competent and willing to listen!
She was friendly, unhurried, asked questions, and listened.
She was AWFUL. She did not listen, did not take my concerns seriously. She seemed discriminatory and dismissive. She did not have good beside manner.
