About Me

I am a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and I primarily focus on treating adults. I am especially interested in diabetic and hypertensive disease management. I believe in collaborating with my patients to help them maintain their health and prevent complications of acute and chronic illnesses. I think patient care is best when it’s a team effort.

Working in family medicine allows me to develop long lasting relationships with my patients, which is something that’s unique to my field. It’s what attracted me to family medicine in the first place!

My favorite part about working about Ohio State is the opportunity to educate future family medicine physicians. I also enjoy the progressive way in which we provide care to our patients. Medicine has the ability to leave an impact on individuals’ lives as well as communities as a whole.

As always, my provider if very thorough with his exam and always is sure to check on my mental health and wellbeing. As with the medical assistant, I was able to connect with some side conversation about my work, which though unrelated to my appointment, helped me feel comforted in the fact that my care team is composed of real people who are not just going through the motions of routine healthcare. It's comforting to connect with my health care team during the craziness and uncertainty of this pandemic.
