I specialize in perioperative internal medicine. This means helping people get safely through surgery by obtaining a thorough medical history, facilitating communication between caregivers and managing medical problems before and after surgery.
I am also certified in infectious diseases. I diagnose and treat infections and symptoms that have remained undiagnosed, despite previous evaluation. I enjoy helping people by being detailed and thorough and by working closely with other healthcare providers.
I am proud to be a doctor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the caring and quality that I see my colleagues providing to people every day.

News about me
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 07/28/2016, Dr. Weed has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
