About Me

As an orthopedic trauma surgeon, my mission is to help patients recover and get back to the activities they love after they have suffered a sudden or potentially life-changing injury. I commonly treat hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, rib, clavicle, pelvis and intra-articular fractures, as well as limb deformities and polytraumas.

My job is not only to apply the most innovative and advanced surgical techniques to restore the form and function of injured limbs, but to deliver individualized treatments tailored to each patient’s goals and values. Our dedicated care team is committed to guiding patients of all backgrounds throughout their entire recovery journey. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has a world-class group of surgeons and it is a privilege to be part of this team. Our collaborative group works closely together and leverages our collective expertise to provide the best possible care for our patients.

I am always looking for ways to improve patient outcomes and experiences, a mindset influenced by my extensive background in trauma care and research efforts. These pursuits have resulted in numerous publications, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences.

In addition to my clinical and research work, my role includes helping to train the next generation of surgeons. I enjoy working with medical students and residents as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
