About Me
I specialized in psychiatry because I believe mental health is critical for achieving a better quality of life. My role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center focuses on providing psychiatric care to hospitalized patients, and I work closely with them and their families through times of crisis. I enjoy inpatient work because of the opportunity to treat the most complex and disabling forms of psychiatric disease, and it’s deeply rewarding to see patients recover and return to their usual lives.
In my practice, I work collaboratively with my patients to provide evidence-based psychiatric care that is tailored to their unique needs and values. I also emphasize early psychiatric interventions, which can have lifelong positive effects for both the patient and their loved ones.
I am also active in research efforts to improve psychiatric care, and I recently received a K12 grant from The Ohio State University Clinical and Translational Science Institute. My research centers on finding biomarkers of psychiatric disease using neuroimaging.
I am also an assistant clinical professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I enjoy teaching residents and medical students about psychiatric disease and how to provide empathetic patient-centered care.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Bryant has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
