Biography
In my role as a certified nurse practitioner here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in treating patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. Helping people improve their spinal health is a career-long passion of mine. I worked as a physical therapist for many years before transitioning to nursing.
The breadth of my education and experience allows me to create customized care plans that are specific to each patient’s health needs. Patients can rely on me as a partner as we work to improve their mobility and overall quality of life. My research has been focused on strategies to reduce lower back pain and I was involved in a National Institutes of Health-funded study on lumbar multifidus retraining methods.
I’m proud to be part of the team at Ohio State. The culture is one of continued excellence, and the commitment to evidence-based practice ensures our patients always receive the most innovative care possible.
In my role, it’s a privilege to help guide the next generation of health care providers. I’ve served as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, and I’ve been a mentor in Ohio State’s Young Professionals program. I also mentored medical students during Ohio State-led volunteer medical trips to Honduras in 2018 and 2022.
When I’m not working, I love walking, hiking and fishing with my family and friends. I also enjoy gardening and ringing in the hand bell choir at my church.

I have always seen the surgeon for my annual follow-up. The scheduler gave me the option to see a NP or surgeon. Since it was essentially a wellness check, I chose the NP. She was absolutely awesome. Not only did she provide a thorough checkup, she went further in examining a healing burn over my hardware. I am now getting a CT scan and see the would clinic. I can't think of anything she forgot or overlooked. An excellent provider for OSU!!!!

Did not get any help for pain. I was on pain, I waited this appointment for long time but visiting her did not worth anything for my pain. I don't know what was the purpose of that visit.
