About Me

I became a certified nurse-midwife because it is deeply rewarding caring for patients across multiple stages of their lives and building lasting relationships with them. Choosing to start a family or add to an existing one is a very special time. I find great joy in supporting people as they grow their families.

I strive to provide exceptional care and guidance throughout pregnancy, delivery and the postpartum period. I believe in a patient-centered approach designed to help each person’s birth experience be a positive one. I’m also committed to staying up to-date-on the most innovative practices, and I am a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

My patients can rely on me as a partner in their journey. I feel strongly about empowering each patient to take an active role in their health care and make the best decisions for their health. I prioritize education and always ensure my patients understand their treatment options and can access useful resources.

My responsibilities also include providing other women’s health services. I perform annual gynecological exams with Pap smears, offer screenings for sexually transmitted infections and help patients find the right contraceptive or menstrual control methods for them. I also enjoy caring for patients beyond their reproductive years.

It’s a privilege to offer this care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I appreciate the resources available, and the access to multidisciplinary experts at the top of their specialties, that allow us to provide the best patient care possible.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and our three sons. I enjoy exercising, organizing and being outdoors.
