Biography

As a certified nurse practitioner at Ohio State, I specialize in open heart surgery with a specific focus on heart and lung transplant patients, as well as patients needing advanced therapies. I believe that advanced practice nurses have the ability to make a positive difference in people’s lives. I feel privileged to be part of my patients’ journey during a time that’s both scary and rewarding.

When it comes to patient care, I like to create a mutual relationship based on care and trust. I also think it’s important to include family and friends in the care model. Together, we work together to reach mutual goals.

At Ohio State, I’m able to care for patients who require advanced therapies. I also enjoy being part of an academic medical center.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outside, teaching and being with my family and friends.
